A participant is only allowed a maximum of five (5) entries. All entries must be original and have not been previously published or exhibited in any printed or online media prior to the contest. Each entry will be assessed for any form of malicious contents by SONY representatives before they are displayed on www.m-mag.com.ph and www.sony.com.ph.

SONY representatives will choose five (5) finalists on November 30, 2009. All five (5) photos will be posted on the website for the on-line voting. Voting period will start at 12:01 AM of December 15, 2009 and will end 11:59 PM of December 30, 2009.

Voters can choose only one photo for every category (for every email address used). The online voting will comprise 20% of the total score. The judging, conducted by SONY to determine 15 finalists, will comprise 80% of the final ranking. This judging system will be used to determine the winners. Notification of the winners will be announced through the next issue of m. Magazine. Winners will also be notified via registered mail.

A participant can only have one winning entry per category. In the event that both winning entries were submitted by the same participant, he or she will be granted the higher prize. Other expenses that will be incurred in the relation to the prize shall be shouldered by the winner.

There will only be one (1) grand prize winner for all categories. All prizes can be claimed at: m. Magazine Office, MetroLifestyle Complex, F. Torres St. , 8000 Davao City.

Winner must present two (2) valid IDs (passport, SSS ID, Driver?s license, Company ID, etc.,) with photo and the notice received through registered mail. All prizes not claimed within sixty (60) days from the receipt of notification shall be forfeited in favor of SONY and m. Magazine with prior approval of Department of Trade and Industry.

Winner should agree to be featured in publicity materials regarding this promotion. The copyright of the entries will remain with the participants. Entries may be displayed or used as part of the communication materials of Sony Philippines with acknowledgement of the source. However, the entries must not be featured or exhibited before the announcement of winners.

Employees of SONY and m. Magazine, and their relatives up to the second degree of affinity or consanguinity are not allowed to join the photo contest
